This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

Congratulations on your first photoshoot! To make the most of our session, here are a few tips:

  • Relax and be yourself! I'll guide you through poses and help you feel comfortable.
  • Think about your outfit choices in advance. Choose clothing that makes you feel confident and reflects your style.
  • Communicate your vision! If you have specific ideas or preferences, let me know.
  • Trust the process. I'll work with you to create beautiful images you'll cherish.
  • For Portraits I recommend solid colors, and clothing that fits well. For families I recommend coordinating colors, and for headshots, clothing that you would wear to an important business meeting.

 

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

Travel within a 50 mile radius of NYC, is included in our package prices. For locations outside of this radius, a travel fee may apply. Please contact me with your desired location, and I can provide you with a personalized quote.

 

Can you recommend any good locations?

 

Absolutely! NYC and the surrounding tri-state areas offer a variety of beautiful locations for photoshoots. Depending on your style and preferences, here are a few suggestions:

  • For natural settings: Central Park, Gantry Park, Brooklyn Promenade, Long Island Parks.
  • For urban settings: Brookyln Bridge, Williamsburg Park, The Vessel, Times Square.
  • I'm also happy to explore new locations with you! Let's discuss your vision and find the perfect backdrop.

 

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

Weather can be unpredictable, especially for outdoor shoots. If the weather is unfavorable on the day of our session, we have a few options:

  • We can reschedule the shoot for a more suitable day.
  • If possible, we can move the shoot to an indoor location.
  • We can embrace the weather, and capture some very unique photos.
  • I'll work with you to find the best solution and ensure we get beautiful images.
